About Dr. Udall
Dr. Craig Udall is a board certified, fellowship-trained podiatrist, and the owner of Foot Envy, his small-business podiatry clinic in Goodyear. Although he treats all foot and ankle problems, including pain and injuries, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, heel pain (plantar fasciitis) and flat feet, he specializes in custom orthotics to treat many foot and ankle conditions.
Dr Udall prides himself on having a conservative, non-surgical approach to treating foot problems.
Dr Udall understands how impactful a foot problem can be on your daily life, and his goal is to not only help resolve your problem, but also to educate you and empower you to know how you can prevent it from happening again.
Dr Udall is old-school, and believes that a doctor-patient relationship is important. When you go to a doctor, you want to be heard and you don’t want to feel like your concerns are dismissed. You don’t want to feel like the doctor is in a rush and can’t wait to get out of the room as fast as possible. No problem is too big or too small at Foot Envy. We take seriously every concern that you have and will treat you with respect. And we are never in a rush!
Our goal isn’t to just do stuff to your feet, or just fix whatever foot issue you have. Feet are complicated and really important! So our goal is to spend time understanding what your true problem is and then together work on a solution.
Dr. Udall has been practicing in the West Valley since 2017. He is a father of five, speaks fluent Spanish, and lives locally with his family.

What is a DPM?
A DPM (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) is a physician who specializes in the medical and surgical care of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. DPMs complete four years of podiatric medical school followed by a multi-year residency, and many complete additional fellowship training in subspecialty areas. DPMs are licensed to perform surgery on the foot and ankle and to prescribe medication.

Yes. We see second-opinion patients regularly, especially patients who have been told they need surgery and want to explore other options before deciding. Bring any imaging or notes you have from the other provider.

If you have neuropathy, or think you might have neuropathy, make an appointment to visit Dr. Udall to talk about it. Dr Udall is not like other doctors out there when it comes to neuropathy. He is interested in helping you understand what is going on, helping you get a proper diagnosis, and doing what is best for you. There is no one size fits all treatment for neuropathy.
Flat Feet
Flat feet are feet with a collapsed arch, which can cause pain and difficulty walking. Dr Udall performs a thorough physical exam, including weight bearing x-rays to fully evaluate the arches and look at the bones and joints. Even if you aren't having lots of pain, a thorough evaluation is important to potentially prevent future problems. Custom orthotics and proper shoes are essential for supporting your feet and reducing pain.
